What we collect
DMS has no accounts, forms or cookies. No tracking scripts are used for analytics or advertising.
What is stored on your device
Only your preferences, kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your own device; they are never sent to us:
- Your dark or light theme choice.
- Your choice to pause the background motion on the home page.
- Some experiences' own records (for example a best time in a game). These stay in the storage of the separate domain the experiences are served from.
You can clear them at any time by deleting the site data in your browser.
Hosting
The site and the experiences are hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. To keep the service secure and running, Vercel may keep request logs (for example IP address and browser information). We don't use these logs for profiling or marketing.
Experiences
The interactive experiences are loaded from a separate domain (s-k-digital-deneyim.vercel.app) and run entirely on your device. They don't send requests to third-party servers.
School Lab
Like the experiences, the School Lab labs load from a separate domain (s-k-digital-deneyim.vercel.app) and run entirely on your device. They don't ask for accounts, names, photos, voice recordings or free text, they keep no scores, times or results, and they send no data anywhere.
The labs use only the following keys in your browser's local storage (localStorage).<slug> is the lab's name in its address (for exampledenge-terazisi):
skd-lab:v1:prefs- Preferences shared by all labs: language, whether sound is on, whether read-aloud is on, and the last grade chosen.
skd-lab:v1:<slug>:steps- The steps completed in that lab, grade by grade (progress).
skd-lab:v1:<slug>:album- The discovery cards collected in that lab (the album).
skd-lab:v1:<slug>:__probe- A temporary check, written and deleted straight away, to see whether storage is available. It holds no information and does not stay on the device.
- Whiteboard mode: for shared classroom computers, whiteboard mode keeps only the shared preferences (
skd-lab:v1:prefs); progress and the album are not stored. - To delete them: the lab's “Start over” button resets progress for the selected grade; “Clear album” in the Teacher corner removes the discovery cards. Clearing the site data in your browser removes everything.
- Read-aloud: uses only the Turkish or English voices installed on the device; the text being read never leaves it. No online voice service is used.
- Network: once the lab file has loaded, it makes no requests to other servers. There are no analytics, ads or cookies.
- For teachers: the labs never ask for pupil information. Class vote counts you enter in whiteboard mode stay in the open page's memory and disappear when it closes. Please don't share pupils' names, photos or voices.

Changes
If a view counter or usage statistics are ever added, this page will be updated beforehand; no data that identifies you will be collected.
